Tora tora tora = toman toman toman

All my bros have been busy landing Toman except me. I have missed these good size fishes for a while, not sure whether it got something to do with single hooks and I have not landed any good size fishes after I changed all my lures to single hooks

The power of Dad, sons and brothers

Last Saturday, we have a new comer, a young and handsome boy called Jasper the elder brother of our young fighter Joven. This lucky young man caught 8 Temensis on his maiden trip, the fishes were in the range of 4.5 pounds and not forgetting his dad Daniel & younger sibling Joven both also have lots of good hooked up too. When I talk to Jasper I saw something evolving in his body, he got the lure fishing venom liao (中钓鱼毒) and let us give this new member a warm welcome to the world of lure fishing. Today We saw the power of lure fishing, it is not only a good and healthy sport but also help to bond family ogether, We saw their dad & uncle giving advice to the 2 boys, sibling helping each other on lure selection and finally the picture of a happy family
Today I was very happy to see the 2 young anglers show concern on catch and release practice, especially Joven who got upset after seeing 2 ‘ Ah Tiong” baiters packed a 8 to 9 pounds Temensis. I am glad the boy is able to understand the importance of catch & release excerise could he be the right candidates to bring on lure fishing to another level here.
I am looking forward to fish with them again on this weekend, there will be another 2 long waited anglers joining us, one is none other than our young and prosperous Lewis and the other is our legendary tortoise fighter Mr Edwin “kool’ aka “O.. K.. Kwang”

Two young anglers

Joven & Louis are first cousin, althrough Joven is an Martial art expert and also a representive of the National youth team but this Zebra cichilid aka Hornet was his first fish on a lure and I believed this boy will had more fun for him to succumb the fish then putting down his opponent on stage. A dose of fishing venom had started to invade into his blood vessel and all this thanks to his uncle Mr. Nelson our Singapore Ito.
Our next up and coming star angler is Louis, son of our dear Nelson and at his tender age he had accumulated a massive record of landing big fishes ranging from 6 kg Toman, 4 kg GT, 3 Kg Kim & seng kor and other more.
With many years ahead of them and they will be nutured into the angler of next generation, I am confident to see a breed of young anglers carry on with this exciting sport. Let enjoy the picture.
Keep it guys

5.6 pounds Temensis on a 7 gm jig

This jig was recomended by a kaki's friend, he got a 10 pounds Temensis from this jig. On my third casts hooked on to this fella body and he gave me a real good fight but I burst it on my fifth cast. I beleived this is a very good lure as I saw fishes chasing it during the retrieve and I will definitely buy a few to keep. This fish was caught on my Megabass destoryer rod and my Daiwa certate reel.

Power the ma - a 4.45 pounds Asian arowana by our dragon slayer Nelson

Nelson and me recede this old spot where we caught our biggest Temensis and my first Arowans. Today after several casts no fish landed and decided to move further. When we reached the turn, Nelson got his first arowana weighed 4.45 pounds and a 6.7 pounds temensis. He lost another one which estimated to be 6 pounds range juct before landing it. I caught a 3.5 pounds on our way ou and when we cross over to another site, I caught this 8.3 pounds papa temensis by a yozuri popper snd a few 1 pound to 3 pounds small temensis.

P.S. Power the ma must said in an Indian accent then you will know the kick we have when we caught these fishes.

Wasps attack

Sunday 17/7/2011 was a very bad day for us, our lure kakis Nelson and Derek got stung by wasps and Nelson was badly affected. He was taken to hospital by an ambulance advised by the GP. At the hospital, the doctor advised him to be warded for 1 day observation but somehow he managed to negoitate with him and allowed him to go home. That evening both developed fever and went back to see doctor again. Next time for safety reason we have to buy him a pair oflong pants. LOL

r2 ten pounders by Guru and Bro Jasper

They caught this 2 ten pounders on the same day at seperate spot on last Thurdsday. Guru Alan caught another 7 pounds on Saturday and my humble little 4 pounds. Last Sunday Bro Jasper & Capt Derek saw Baiters tapao 1 11 to 12 pounds temensis and 3 Tomans weighing 8 to 12 pounds. One of my bro keep swearing at them, CCB NNBACBB eat fish go market buy but no choice the damage is aready done. If our government continue to overlook the importance of sport fishing here this will continue, my dream is to have a professional league for peacock bass fishing here and maybe we can produced some world class anglers like Japanese or have our own Yuki Ito.

Today Bought a Megabass rod at a special price and hopefully with this new rod I will have some breakthrough on my fishing journey and now let see the pictures of the fish and my new weapon.

Bro Jasper's 10 pounders

Guru's 10 pounder's and 7 pounders, 10 pounders was caught on Sabel dance PE 1 jigging rod and Ryoga reel.
