Wasps attack
Sunday 17/7/2011 was a very bad day for us, our lure kakis Nelson and Derek got stung by wasps and Nelson was badly affected. He was taken to hospital by an ambulance advised by the GP. At the hospital, the doctor advised him to be warded for 1 day observation but somehow he managed to negoitate with him and allowed him to go home. That evening both developed fever and went back to see doctor again. Next time for safety reason we have to buy him a pair oflong pants. LOL

r2 ten pounders by Guru and Bro Jasper
They caught this 2 ten pounders on the same day at seperate spot on last Thurdsday. Guru Alan caught another 7 pounds on Saturday and my humble little 4 pounds. Last Sunday Bro Jasper & Capt Derek saw Baiters tapao 1 11 to 12 pounds temensis and 3 Tomans weighing 8 to 12 pounds. One of my bro keep swearing at them, CCB NNBACBB eat fish go market buy but no choice the damage is aready done. If our government continue to overlook the importance of sport fishing here this will continue, my dream is to have a professional league for peacock bass fishing here and maybe we can produced some world class anglers like Japanese or have our own Yuki Ito.
Today Bought a Megabass rod at a special price and hopefully with this new rod I will have some breakthrough on my fishing journey and now let see the pictures of the fish and my new weapon.

Hooked by Temensis
Got This 6.75 pounds Temensis but in the end I got hooked on my hand when the poor fish struggling on the lip grip. I made a stupid mistake by lifting the fish too high and near to my hand. Fortunately Alan,Nelson and Robin came to rescue, Nelson and Robin quickly grabbed on to the fish & free it from the lure. Alan skillfully peirce the hook through and cut the barb off from his leatherman plier. I greatfully thanks them for the help. There are the pictures of the fish and hook on my hand. Fish was safely released back to the water.

A wonderful birthday present for me - 11 pounds Temensis papa
Went a famous spot for Toman as their season is around the corner however they are not ready to take our lure. Robin, Alan and Nelson missed a few biggies ans a big fat zero for me. With Nelson ended his session earlier but another Bro Derrick came to join us. After having our lunch we moved on to another spot after getting some info from another friend that this spot is still productive.
After 15 minutes into our second session it looks like I have to shallow the big fat egg. When I moved to the last frontier. When I make ny fourth cast, I felt a big tug on my lure immediately I set my hook twice and the line on my certate 2500 reel atarted peel out like no tomorrow. I started to shout at Derrick who was about 20 metre away from me. I pul it in but only managed to overcome this biggie on the third attempt just before Derrick, Alan and Robin arrived. Photo takem and fish was relased back into with help of my bros. Thanks to you all for the great assistance, I also like to specially thanks Alan who generouslly sharing his luring knowledge & experience.

Biggies are back at Spot higher one
At 5.40 am recieved a call and a sms from Nelson and Alan, both were bad news that their place have started to rain and I was like " siao liao" s to "cheong" or not to "cheong". Just after a short while, rain started to pour so after sending my OC to work I decided to sleep for a while and hope the rain will stopped by then.
At 8.20 pm I was woke up by the "ah ah ah"sound made by the crows and I know the rain is stopping very soon, immediately call Nelson to check the weather forcast over his area and we agreed to meet up at our first spot.
While we were casting inside the forest I saw the patrol boat and quickly alerted Nelson to take cover. After the boat left we continued to cast again. After a short while I decided to split up with Nelson and moved to another area. Here I got the first fish of the day after my third casts,before I could made my fourth cast I recieved Nelson's call that he got a 8.5 pounds Toman and I have to run back into the forest to help me to take photo before we released it back into the water. He told me that this killer bite half of the Temensis that hooked on to his lure, it got hooked when it turned back to take the other half of the Temensis.
Next come my turn when i hooked on a temensis,I saw it's 2 bigger brother and sister chasing it and trying to steal the lure. I leave the hooked fish in the water until the bigger one dashed towards it to grab the lure I set it firmly a few times and also dropped the smaller. The fight is on and I have a hard time to land this fella because I left my lip grip in my car. I called Nelson to help but he told me that he just saw a vehicle drove past and I have to quickly carry the fish to run into the forest again. This fish wait 8 pounds on the digital scales, after this I got another about the same size but it managed to escape after I took the hook out from his mouth and lastly I got another medium size fish weighed about 5 pounds.
Later we went for lunch and meet up with Alan, Robin, Chee Yong and a new Kaki Mr Derrick Ho. When we reached spot higher2 we discovered that the water was very low and saw a mama Toman with frys but she was not interested with our lure. Only Robin managed to land 1 small Temensis so we decided to bash into the deep forest and finally we come to a spot where everyone is able to land a few Temensis except me. Nelson managed to hooked up a 6 pounder there. Soon when the sky start to turn dark and we decided to call it a day.
After today's trip I feel upset because we have to hide our selves to avoid being caught by the regulatories for a healthy spot.

where have all the biggies go
Met Jasper at spot higher 1 on Friday and Saturday evening, snall Temensis are a bundant but dig one are still missing however Jasper and me manage to catch a medium sizes with mine weighing 5.5 pounds and His is about 6.5 pounds.
