BBQ and Ajing at St John Island

We have a fun trip to St John island to fish for big eye scad, this is one of the powerful fish in Ajing game. Ajing is a finese fishing using a pe 0.1 to 0.5 tackle. The jig head is no more then 3 gm on to 2 pound mono line, I once got a baby queenie at sibu island and the fight is like a dog tooth tuna because of the micro light setup. Will do more on ajing in the upcoming trip and share in my blog.

Today have a trip to southern on Spearo II. The spots are mainly jigging and ajing and fishing caught are ebek, bump nose trevally, long fin trevally and hard tail scad.

Sunday local trip on Ocean Lunar

Our monthly local trip with regular kaki, this is one of my jink trip without catching a decent catch. As usual, we start with our breakfast at West Coast hawker center

The day started with Fage's first fish. The current was slow and bite rate wasn't good. 3 of us ended the trip without a decent catch. Today our man on form is Richard and the winner of the biggest catch goes to Alan. Let the picture do the talking

There were a lot more fishes caught but I do not have their pictures. This captain is very good, humble, knowledgeable and hardworking. His spot is also very good for all types of pelagic.

Recent trip to scs, my best fishing buddy got a 12.5 kg grouper. I have long time never update my blog because i am a IT retarded. I do not know how to use IOS tabley. Lol

MC Volkey

I have bought a new rod, is MC Volkey have try out although is a 2 pieces rod  but no problem of handling a 5 pounders and is very accurate in casting. Recently my PC break down so not able to update my blog but I have managed to get myself a new one and soon I will be posting some of my recent adventures
